I am a Certified Birth, Bereavement and VBAC Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, Belly Binder and Childbirth Educator. I earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and Bachelors of Science in General Studies with medical background. I feel blessed to bring my unique set of skills and education from serving many families as a Birth Doula since 2016; Birthing with Nurture begin establishment after the birth of my last child (which was born in Oklahoma in 2014). My experience with that birth was everything that I didn't want it to be and nothing I wanted it to be! I decided from that point forward I wanted to take the steps needed to establish a woman/family centered network for advocacy within the birth world so families would be able to receive more evidence based information so they would be able to make a more informed consent on their BIRTHday . I decided once moving to the new stateBirthing with Nurturewould become established to take on these families whom needed the advocacy within the birth world. These families would receive the information on evidence and informed education to achieve the best birth experience for both parents and the right to plan and be supported the way they envision the birth they have planned. I certainly believe when you have evidence based care and can make informed decisions for your birth, while being more involved with your birth then your outcome will be a more positive experience.
I am happily married to my high school sweetheart! We have surprisingly known each other since grade school because of the small town we are from. We have a wonderful daughter and sweet son who keep us busy with life. I love hiking when possible, horseback riding and just exploring the countryside! I have been given the opportunity to be able to explore so much of the United States!
