"Felicia is hands down amazing. Not only did Felicia never leave my wife’s side during her 12 hour labor, she came to our house in the weeks leading up to birth to go through exercises and positions to help my wife get ready for labor. This was our second baby and my wife and I thought we had the whole baby delivery thing down, but Felicia introduced us to so many more comfort measures to practice during labor that ultimately helped tremendously. During birth, I was amazed by Felicia’s dedication to taking care of my wife - she pushed me to be a better birth partner, too. And when we needed to transfer our newborn son from the Edmond birth center to Children’s hospital in OKC, Felicia was there with our midwife to make sure the transition went as smoothly as possible (it did and eventually everything was fine). Felicia is one of those people who have really found their calling as a doula and this is just what she was put on earth to do - and she does it so well. You should definitely talk to her if you are planning to have a baby anywhere nearby". Daddy B
"I had no idea what a Doula even was until my wife started bringing it up. Meeting a stranger to discuss something intimate like a birth can be intimidating but Felicia is both professional and friendly. My wife developed a birth plan and discussed in detail how the process would go, Felicia was there every step of the way to provide additional guidance and answer questions. We met up multiple times with Felicia leading up to the birth to continue developing a plan and see how things were going. You aren't just hiring Felicia to show up for your birth, she will be there every step of the way. There is one single point of this whole experience that solidified my confidence and appreciation for Felicia; the night my wife was induced. We felt bad that she was there away from her family and not getting any sleep. My wife insisted she go home for a few hours and get some rest but Felicia refused and assured us she was happy to be there. So when my wife started having extremely painful cramps, Felicia jumped right in and absolutely saved the day. If she wasn't there, I have NO idea what I would have done. We had music playing, a diffuser going, it was so awesome to see. She stayed through the night and my wife gave birth the next day in the afternoon. Just having her there took so much stress off of me, I continued to ask questions and she helped me relax the entire duration. She will visit a little while after the birth as well to check in on everyone, and will remain a friend for life. She continues to text us weeks later to see how everything is going. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to her again! So if you're the husband reading this review or you're on the fence about the whole Doula process, just stop. You will gain such an appreciation for what a Doula truly brings to the birthing experience. Again, thank you Felicia so much for everything you have done. Daddy J
"After finding out that my husband would be deployed for the birth of our second child, I knew I would need some additional support in the labor room. I am so glad to have found Felicia. As a fellow military spouse, she knows firsthand the difficulties that come with this lifestyle. She was always available to answer my questions leading up to the birth and was completely on board with whatever I would need for labor and delivery. When it came time for delivery, she was awesome. I am so glad I had a doula for this birth and I would definitely contact her again! Mama K
With my forth birth, I needed to use Felicia again. This pregnancy was by far my hardest. I was in prodromal labor for 11 days. 11 days of misery but Felicia was there. We tried everything! She came home from vacation and straight to my house to help. We went swimming. While in labor she was awesome. So much encouragement and everything! This was my second birth with her! She is phenomenal. I love her. Mama A
I met Felicia at a birth workshop on base. I was a little skeptical at first having someone other than my husband in the hospital room with me. However, once we got to the hospital Felicia was great. I couldn't imagine being able to commit to my plan of going natural if it wasn't for her being there and know exactly what to do to counteract the pain. She was full of wonderful ideas to keep my mind off of the pain. She kept telling me how good of a job i was doing and it definitely helped me push through the pain. She taught my husband how to help counteract the pain and with them both there it was a peaceful journey into motherhood. I've already recommended her services to many of my friends that are pregnant. If you are wanting to go all natural, Felicia is your girl! Mama K
Felicia was so great to work with! I went into false labor 3 times, and she came to our house, and even came to the hospital with us during the false alarms. She was always quick to answer her phone or respond to texts, and she was always super helpful and would check in and follow up with me to see how I was feeling and see how things were going. It was very helpful to have her with us at our labor & delivery, especially since I delivered natural with no epidural or pain meds. We're so grateful we found Felicia to work with, and we highly recommend her! Mama M
She was super helpful!! I'm a first time mom and had a ton of questions and she was always willing to text or call me with answers. She was very supportive during the entire labor and checked up on us several times after our little boy came. I'm so very glad she was there to help my husband and I! Mama L
